Normandy Shores Golf Club @ http://www.normandyshoresgolfclub.com
Normandy Shores Golf Club is rightly situated in the restful suburban community of Normandy Isle on the northern end of Miami Beach, Florida just of the 71st street. This famous golf spot features panoramic views and fantastic amenities that will surely captivate every tourist and visitor while enjoying their pleasurable rounds of golf. It is one of the golf venues recommended by Cesar's Golf Rentals.

There are many reasons why you should include Normandy Shores on your list. Surely there are a lot of wonderful things to discover in this premier golf club.

Awesome Nature-Inspired Backdrop

Normandy Shores is perfectly located on a quiet island in Biscayne Bay where you can enjoy the relaxing breezes and tropical wildlife while taking your serious golf lessons. This pleasingly renovated hidden jewel provides an awesome background for both beginners and pros giving them the best experience for a golf club.

Creatively designed by Arthur Hills, the golf course is planted with Supreme Seashore Paspalum a kind of turf grass used in salt-affected sites. With three sets of tees covering 5,900 to 6,800 yards, this classic Florida course was renovated in 2007 and had its first launch in 1937. It is one of the important golf courses registered on Florida’s Historic Golf Trail.

Strategically Built and Engineered Site

Though the area is not that overwhelming in terms of length, it has well-protected landing areas and greens intended for a demanding golf test. The golf course is purposefully bunkered and water risks come into play on 12 out of 18 holes. Quick rolling paspalum turf grasses offer a difficult challenge, making Normandy Shores a genuine test of every player’s skills. Aside from that, the prominent golf club offers a putting green, driving range and a fully stocked golf shop.

More than your Usual Golf Club

If you think Normandy is a commonplace golf course, think twice. It’s more than a pleasurable spot for golf aficionados; it can provide your entire tournament needs. In 2010, the club management introduced its new historical clubhouse that features a wide selection of golf equipment plus locker rooms for men and women. They also have their very own Normandy Shores Grill that satisfies your appetite for the best salads and sandwiches in town. Their Grill gives you the perfect spot to enjoy an after round meal as they cater full bar service plus total relaxation on their nicely covered patio.

Titleist AP2 Forged 710 Golf Club Review

Titleist AP2 Forged 710 is for rent @ CesarsGolfRentals.com
Titleist has been known for the quality of “performance helper” club sets they made available for the demanding players in the golf market. Their sets are listed among the in demand list of club offerings, along with Bridgestone’s and Cleveland Golf’s. With the introduction of AP2 Forged 710, we are once again pampered by this popular golf club brand. If you enjoyed your original Advance Performance irons and helped you with the different golf tournaments you've been through, there is no reason for you to not find the same enjoyment with this upgrade version.

Interesting Features

Feature-wise, there are several reasons why you will find satisfaction using Titleist’s upgrade of the AP irons, the AP2 Forged 710. First, the cavity is equipped with aluminum plate and a co-molded medallion of soft elastomer – two of the many vital club components added to help eliminate the lower sound frequencies that are, among other things, producing the bad feel. Its stainless-looking finish is definitely attractive. It’s a well-engineered metal work packed with power and feel like no other.

Power in Design

Talking about stability, Titleist AP2 Forged 710 features a dual-cavity design which pushes heaviness to the outer layer of the forged, multimaterial clubhead. Adding to its gorgeous look, these irons are all set and ready to offer you the sought-after sound, feel, impact and workability with its Tuned Feel System. If you always find yourself hitting too much of the turf, using AP2 Forged 710 gives you that flawless interaction. In fact, I found these clubs to be the smoothest, feel-optimized, I have tried.

Quality and Feel

Golfers can expect that the quality of these clubs is set to the maximum as Titleist built them with the high technology design and around the favorable outcome of the first Advance Performance irons, which was offered after the findings that golfers want performance with great feel. Thus, the AP2 Forged 710 irons were introduced by Titleist carrying the same mission: “Advanced Performance You Can Feel.” Having done an independent test, I can attest that this mission has been carried out gracefully.

Club Level

It’s definitely a collection of irons set to conquer another level. Titleist just made another groundbreaking introduction of its lines of Advanced Performance irons. The appeal factor is there. It is a high performing piece of well-engineered equipment packed with a very agreeable feel. Expected ball flight and forgiveness are guaranteed by the dual cavity engineering the clubs are built with.

Verdict

With the AP2 Forged 710 irons, a softer and more solid feel is achieved, making them a very good upgrade from the original Advance Performance irons. But like any other golf clubs I've reviewed, it comes with a slight disadvantage. For a model that’s already been around for some years, the expensive price tag might raise your eyebrows. Now, the question is, are you willing to pay more dollars for the performance and feel this in demand Titleist golf club model can offer? I suggest you give it a test before you buy. You can simply rent this set for an exhaustive test from a golf club service near you. Or, if you are in/around South Florida, Titleist AP2 Forged 710 is available for rent at Cesar’s Golf Shop and Rentals.

Cleveland CG7 Tour - Zip Grooves Golf Club Review

Cleveland CG7 Tour is for rent @ CesarsGolfRentals.com
As golfers, we tend to have so many demands from a set of clubs; ball flight, speed, feel, design – there is just so many things we need to have full control of when playing on the course, and we want our clubs to be our hero all the time. Fortunately, there is a creation by Cleveland – a golf brand that has been providing quality golf clubs since 1979 – that is willing to accept the challenge and attend to most of our demands as a golfer – the CG7 Tour – Zip Grooves.

Interesting Features

Cleveland Golf’s CG7 Tour Zip Grooves is an iron set packed with a lot of interesting technology. First, there is the anti-glare gunmetal or slate finish, which is absolutely perfect for golfers who are bothered by glares caused by reflecting clubs. Then, there are the laser-milled micro grooves – an added feature that is definitely making curious golfers want to try.

Power in Design

Talking about the unique groove pattern, you are ensured of high, straight and consistent shots the entire day of golfing with these irons. The USGA rules compliant laser-milled clubface offers admirable performance in a way of helping you produce remarkable ball spin. In other words, comparing to game-improvement irons, these irons set can help you produce ball flight as fast, especially after well-struck shots. With these clubs, you’ll know when you miss hit the ball as the one piece injection molded visco-elastic insert offers you that instant feeling. And when you do miss hit a shot, it will fairly help.

Comparing these irons to the non-tour versions, they shy off in terms of featuring more offsets and stronger lofts. But what will surprise you is the feel of these clubs. For a cast cavity back iron, they actually feel softer; thanks to the visco-elastic insert which dampen the feel and sound of impact. And to put that in view of performance, the soft feel allows you to shape your shots, be alerted instantly with miss hits, allowing you to play the way golf should be played.

Club Level

Cleveland Golf sets the CG7 Tour Zip Grooves to perform for the middle class of golf performers. High handicap players are already enjoying the benefits of using HiBore XLi and launcher irons, while the better players and traditionalist found a savior in the forged blades version. These irons are a perfect mate for scratch and mid handicapper golfers.

Verdict

With the good impression for this set of clubs, I could say that Cleveland Golf has produced another winner to bring their band up to another level. But before I close this review, I just want you to take note of the general observations for these clubs. Some argued the set gives up some playability, while others feel they are shorter than some others. If these observations make you curious even more, I suggest you test it out and experience the clubs yourself. If you’re in South Florida, I recommend you rent these irons for a day of testing at Cesar’s Golf Shop and Rentals.
